I want to thank the Align Scoliosis Foundation for their compassion and generosity in providing the needed financial support for the Wood Rigo Cheneau brace.
My teenage son was diagnosed with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis and this brace was recommended to address his curvature. Once we received the brace, my son was wearing it consistently as prescribed by his physician. As consistently, the bills for this brace were being received. After 3 appeals to the insurance company requesting coverage for this medical equipment, I received a bill for a large sum of money that the insurance would not cover. My CPO informed me about this foundation and suggested I apply.
Within 2 days, I was approved and the financial worry was immediately removed. I will forever be grateful to the Align Scoliosis Foundation for acknowledging and recognizing the need to have these braces covered and for being able to provide financial support to those in need.
